Ms. Hiawatha Cromer, long time Program Director and head of the kitchen at Creative Health Institute in Hodunk, MI, has teamed with her church, the Assembly of Yahweh, in the farming community of Eaton Rapids, to open a new Ann Wigmore Living Foods Lifestyle Teaching and Residence Health Center. We welcome both new students and those already familiar with this Lifestyle, and offer both 1 to 3 week residential training and health programs and weekly evening outreach classes. Experienced practitioners may also come for shorter, or longer, times for rejuvenation retreats, or to give help with the projects we need on "energy exchange" scholarship.

Our emphasis is on training people on how to make "simple, high-enzyme, high-nourishment foods" and to give them an understanding of the benefits of these foods, and of the other aspects of the program, so they can carry as much as possible into their daily lives in a fairly convenient way.

Our Wellness Center is located at 7881 Columbia Rd, Eaton Rapids, MI, 48827, in a small but cozy and bright 3-bedroom, 2-bath house on 80 acres of trees, broad lawns and fields. We also have a staff house just down the road. We have beds for up to five guests and five staff members at a time, and also have plenty of room for RV’s and tent camping.

The whole property is bordered by tree-lined dirt roads and our fields are loaded with nutritious wild edibles like dandelion, alfalfa, red clover, and nettle. We also have patches of comfrey and you can start picking the plantain as soon as you walk out the front door. And we even have an organic garden. The farmers nearby grow organic carrots, beets and lambs quarters. Indoors, we grow wheatgrass, buckwheat and sunflower greens, various sprouts, and we serve the various fermented foods of "Dr. Ann’s" Living Lifestyle program. You can see the stars at night, enjoy wonderful cloud filled sunsets at dusk, and take long safe walks in the fresh air. Yet major shopping is only 30 minutes away and further up into East Lansing, home of Michigan State University, are three health food stores with more organic produce.

ENERGY EXCHANGE HELP: Partial, and almost full scholarships, while learning, eating and working, during the training programs and even for months at a time. Plus, people to come help make living food, grow greens and work in the garden on short-term visits, even for weekends. (If you’re new at it, we’ll show you how!)
